No, Harvard will not pay for publication costs if they should arise.

It is suggested that allowable costs be included in the awardee's grant budget. Please review "Can I charge publication costs to my grant budget under the NIH Public Access Policy?

Harvard also recommends authors consider pursuing publishing venues that do not condition publication on the payment of a fee, such as subscription journals, no-fee open access journals, and the subscription route to publication in hybrid journals. Read additional guidance on finding journals that do not charge publication fees.
