The NIH Public Access Policy covers recipients of NIH funding and requires the deposit of the author’s final version of a journal manuscript (i.e. the Author Accepted Manuscript) in PubMed Central via a non-exclusive license granted to the NIH.

The Harvard Open Access Policies cover certain members of the Harvard community—including all members of faculty—and require the deposit of the author’s final version of a journal manuscript in DASH, Harvard’s open access institutional repository, via a non-exclusive license granted to Harvard.
